Description

Garden house located approximately 50 metres east of Cranley Hall, built in the late 18th century. It features a plastered timber frame set on a high brick plinth and has a thatched roof. The building is single storey and has an octagonal plan. The west side has an ogee-headed doorway, which is currently without a door. On either side of this facet, there are two-light leaded casements with curved Y-tracery beneath ogee heads. The roof is conical. Inside, there are benches along the main sides and windows equipped with holders for croquet balls. The painted plaster ceiling displays a star pattern.
