Description

The White House is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th or early 17th century. It is timber-framed and covered with a roughcast rendering, with a thatched roof. The house has two storeys and originally consisted of three rooms arranged in a row. It features small casement windows, most of which date to the 19th century. A central plank door provides access to the house, and to the right is a boarded door with a simple 20th-century porch. There is an internal chimney stack. A small timber-framed addition to the rear has a corrugated iron roof. The interior structure is largely hidden by later finishes.
