Description

The granary, located 10 metres north of Chestnut Farmhouse, dates from around 1800. It is constructed from timber framing and is weather-boarded, standing on red brick piers arranged in a 4 by 3 configuration. The roof is hipped and thatched. The granary features a central plank door flanked by a small louvred window on either side. Inside, there are original grain bins made of planking. This structure is noted for being an unusually complete example of its type.
