Description

The monument to Reverend Anthony Wingfield, located 3 meters south of the chancel of the church, was erected in 1715 and created by Francis Bird. It features a reclining, life-size figure made of limestone, which is supported by a pillow on a tomb-chest. The tomb-chest has gadrooned sides and ramped scrolls at both ends. Surrounding the monument are wrought iron spearhead railings on a limestone plinth.
