Description
The Ten Bells Inn is a public house that dates from the late 18th century, with extensions added in the mid 19th century and mid 20th century. The original 18th-century section is one storey with attics, while the 19th-century part is two storeys. The building is timber-framed and roughcast, featuring plaintiled roofs with axial chimneys made of red brick. It has gabled small-pane casement dormers, along with 19th and 20th-century small-pane casements. The entrance doors are four-panelled and date from the 19th century. There is also a large single-storey extension at the rear that was added in the mid 20th century. The inn is included for its group value.
