Description
The Vicarage is a house dated 1778, located on Felixstowe Grange Road. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof and has an L-shaped plan. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring four bays with sash windows that have glazing bars in flush frames. The entrance door is made up of six panels and is situated beneath a fanlight with glazing bars. The doorcase reveals are panelled, and fluted pilasters support a small open pedimented canopy. There is a 20th-century porch added to the entrance. A moulded brick band runs along the first floor, and there is a dentil course at the eaves. Inside, there is a brick end stack to the right and another stack located between the main and rear ranges. A stone tablet inscribed with "1778 SRE" is positioned on the chimney.
