Description
Nos 105 and 107 New Street is a late 18th century to early 19th century building that stands three storeys tall and is constructed of red brick with a slate roof. The façade features five windows, with an additional window in a wing that is set back 4½ inches. The windows are sash style, equipped with glazing bars and flat arches, while the central window has a segmental head. The brick reveals on the ground floor are chamfered.
The building is adorned with a cornice that includes paired mutules and roundels, along with a heavy bedmould. The entrance features a six-panel door topped by an arched fanlight that has circular and radial bars. Flanking the door are composite half columns, which are fluted for the upper two-thirds. The entrance is located on the left return and is set within an altered door case that has a mutular Doric pediment.
