Description

Roycroft is a building located on New Street, dating from 1852. It is a two-storey structure with an attic and features three dormers. The building is timber framed and has a modern roughcast exterior. It is topped with tiles and has a bracket cornice adorned with six-petal rosettes. There are three windows that consist of mullion and transom casements, with a mix of original and modern glazing. The entrance includes a six-panel door set within a pedimented case, and there is a modern shop front to the right. Roycroft is part of a group that includes Nos 46 to 62 on the same street.
