Description

No. 61 New Street is an 18th-century cottage that was originally part of a pair, with No. 63 being partly demolished. The building was remodeled between 1976 and 1978. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring two windows. The roof is covered with plain tiles, and the walls are made of colour-washed brick with a plinth. The windows are segmental-arched casements, and there is a new window in the east bay. The former entrance and shop window have been blocked, and there is a modern recessed entrance bay at the west end.
