Description

This is a late 18th-century cottage, originally one of a pair (number 37 has been partly demolished). It was remodelled and the roof raised between 1976 and 1978. The building is two storeys high with two windows, and has a pantile roof. It is constructed of red brick, featuring gauged flat brick arches over architraved sash windows with glazing bars. Former doorways have been blocked and replaced with modern entrances on the returns. This building has group value, contributing to the character of the area.
