Description

Goughs is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century, with a rear addition added in the mid-20th century. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with a roof of black pantiles. It has two storeys and an attic, arranged in a three-cell form. The first floor features three original windows with ovolo-moulded and diamond mullions, along with another window in the left gable end. There are also two first-floor sliding sash windows and some mid-20th century casement windows. The entrance door, which is boarded, is located on the right side of the building. There is an internal stack and a gable end stack on the right. Inside, the farmhouse showcases exposed timbering.
