Description

Nos 18 to 22 on Bridge Street are early 18th century buildings that stand two stories tall with an attic and feature one dormer. The roofs are covered with pantiles, and the buildings are constructed of colourwashed brick with a moulded brick band. Part of the structure has a plinth. No 18 retains its original glazing bars on the first floor, while all three buildings have five flush-frame sash windows with flat lintels. The ground floor windows of No 20 are fitted with panelled shutters, and there is a six-panel door with a near-flush frame. No 22 is located at the rear. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 2, 4, 6A, 12 to 20 (even), 24 to 34 (even), and 40 to 44 (even), as well as Nos 48 and 50.
