Description

Plumtree Cottage and the adjoining cottage is a house that dates back to the 18th century and is now divided into two separate homes. The building has two storeys and features a timber-framed and rendered front. On the left side, there is a red brick wall with a tumbled gable end that includes a chimney stack, while an external red brick stack is located on the right. The lower parts of both stacks are white-washed. The roof is thatched. Each floor has two windows, which are old three-light casements with transoms, with one featuring small panes. There are also two plank doors with plain surrounds. Additionally, there is a small single-storey lean-to on the right-hand side.
