Description

This is a disused dovecote located 40 meters northeast of 1 to 3 The Timberyard, associated with the old Glemham House, and dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tiled roof. The dovecote is octagonal in shape and has a single circular window on four alternate faces, along with a modern boarded door. It has a moulded brick cornice and the apex of the roof is topped with a small wooden turret and a ball finial, which has been renewed. Inside, there are original brick nesting holes.
