Description

The Congregational Church, located on Upper Oland Street, was founded in 1658. The building dates back to 1776 and was enlarged with its current front added in 1818. It features a two-storey façade made of Suffolk yellow brick and has a hipped pantile roof. The wide eaves are supported by coupled brackets. On the first floor, there are four sash windows with glazing bars and flat arches. At the ground floor, a loggia arcade is situated between two advanced wings that were added later. The church is part of a group that includes Nos 30 to 34 (even) and Nos 38 to 52 (even).
