Description

No. 12 Market Hill is a house that was formerly Lloyds Bank, built in the late 18th century. It has three storeys and is constructed of red brick, featuring a plastered gable and a slate roof with a plain wooden cornice. The building has two brick bands and four windows, which are small-paned sashes set in flush frames, topped with flat gauged arches and keystones. The entrance door has an early 20th-century stone surround, and there are ornate stone dressings on the window above the door, reflecting its history as a bank.
