Description

This cottage, located 450 meters southwest of Upper Abbey Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century and has additions from the 19th and 20th centuries. The main structure is built of flint with yellow brick dressings and features a thatched roof. It has a hexagonal plan and is two stories tall. The cottage includes pointed casement windows. At the rear, there is a single-storey addition made of matching flint with a slate roof, which also has pointed casements and a plain boarded door set within a modern porch.
