Description

A pair of cottages, formerly a farmhouse, dating from around 1730, located on the south side of High Street, Walton, Felixstowe. The cottages are timber-framed with plastered walls and a pantile roof. Number 323 has a lobby entrance plan, while number 325 was likely converted from a former dairy. The cottages are two storeys high with a four-window front. Number 323 retains its original metal casement windows and has a six-panel door within a moulded doorcase, sheltered by a shallow canopy. Number 325 has replacement casement windows and a replacement door. A moulded timber band runs along the first-floor level, and a wood modillion eaves cornice is present. Brick ridge stacks are visible.
