Description

Cottage Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of painted brick with a slated roof. It has two storeys and features a three-window range with three-light casements that have pointed arches and glazing bars with intersecting tracery. The central doorway is adorned with a boarded door and a pointed fanlight that matches the style of the windows. There is a brick band at the first-floor level, and the hipped roof has wide boarded eaves. A central internal stack is present. The right and left return fronts have false windows designed in a similar pointed style. Additionally, there is a single-storey wing on the right side and a modern two-storey flat-roofed extension at the rear.
