Description
Lowcross Farmhouse is a late 18th to early 19th century farmhouse, with later alterations and additions. It is constructed of painted brick with a stone plinth. The roof is slate, with a tile ridge and brick gable end stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high plus attics, and has a symmetrical three-bay design. It features a plain brick band on the first storey and a dentillated eaves cornice. There are three near-flush timber casement windows on the first floor, each with tile cills and stone keystones. The front door is located within a replaced porch and features a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars above a panelled door.
