The Malt House is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick and features a pantile roof. The building stands two storeys tall.

On the entrance front, there is a doorway on the left with a moulded surround and a six-panel door, where the central two panels are glazed. To the right of the doorway, there is a sash window with four panes by four panes. The corners of the front are accentuated by clasping pilaster buttresses, and there are three unevenly distributed pilaster buttresses at the centre. The roof is hipped and has a double pitch.
