Description
A house, likely dating from the 16th or 17th century, was refaced in the 19th century. It is timber framed with rendered walls and a pantile roof, which probably originally had thatch. The house is a single storey with an attic. The front has a section of 20th-century brickwork on the right, containing a doorway with a cambered head and moulded muntins. To the right of this is a two-light window with a cambered head. The section to the left has a doorway at its centre, with a door consisting of two recessed panels and a gabled panel with pointed arched bracing. To the left of this doorway is a sash window with 3x4 panes, and at the right are two similar windows. In the attic are two gabled dormers, each with two lights. A ridge stack is located at the left-hand side of the centre, featuring a rectangular base and sawtoothed flues. The left side of the house has a canted oriel window on the ground floor, supported by moulded brackets with 19th-century applied simulated timber framing. The rear of the house has brick walling on the left, along with a single-light window and an outshut to the far left, which has a two-light, cambered-headed window. The walling on the right has two single-light windows. The interior has not been inspected.
