Description

The King's Head Hotel is an early 18th-century building of three storeys. It is constructed of colourwashed brick with a plinth and is roofed with pantiles. The front has seven windows at the first floor, each with glazing bars set within flush frames, and flat arches above. A six-panel door is set within a wooden Doric case, featuring pilasters, a keyed architrave, and a pediment. The building forms a group with numbers 2 to 16 (even) on the west side of the Market Place.
