Description

This is a hall house, likely dating back to the 15th century, with later additions to the north and south. The building is timber-framed with plaster rendering, and has a tiled roof. The central upper storey features a plaster swag and the date “16 WI 93,” representing the date of the plasterwork. The ground floor has two small 18th-century shop bays with shop fronts featuring glazing bars, built upon brick foundations. The upper floor has a four-window front, with sash windows containing glazing bars. The building forms a group with numbers 61 to 107 on the High Street.
