Description

A large house, originally dating back to the 16th century, was later altered and refaced with red brick in the 18th century. It has two storeys and a seven-window front with double-hung sash windows containing glazing bars, set in flush casings. A raised brick band runs across the front between the floors. A 20th-century gabled porch projects from the south-east end of the front. The roofs are tiled. At the north-west end, a large external chimney stack features two octagonal shafts with moulded caps and bases, which have been restored or partly rebuilt. Wings extend to the rear on the north-east side, and to the north-west and south-east ends of the building.
