Description

The Hatch is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered house located on the northeast side of The Green in Newton. It has one storey and an attic, featuring small casement windows. A lean-to addition extends from the front of the building, which has a boarded door. The roof is thatched and includes a central chimney stack with two octagonal shafts.
