Description

The barn located to the north-west of Cross Green Farmhouse is a timber-framed and weather-boarded structure consisting of six bays. It is roofed with corrugated iron. The wall plate features an edge-halved scarf joint, which may date back to the 15th or early 16th century, as referenced in C. A. Newett's work on carpentry development from 1200 to 1700.
