  1. A C17 timber-framed and plastered house with C19 and later alterations. A building on this site is said to have been recorded as the toll cottage for the Manor of Alpheton. 1 storey and attics. 3 window range, modern casements. A gabled porch projects on the front. Roof thatched, with 3 C19 gabled dormers with tiled roofs. The dormers and porch have shaped bargeboards.
