Description

The Old Tea Shop is a 16th to 17th century timber-framed and plastered building located on Church Street in Lavenham. It features a thatched roof, making it one of the two remaining thatched buildings in the area. The structure has been renovated and consists of one storey with attics. The front facade displays a three-window range of modern casement windows with lattice leaded lights, alongside a small original window that has diamond mullions. The entrance is marked by modern boarded doors, and there are two large gabled dormers and one small gabled dormer on the front of the building.
