No. 44 Church Street is a mid-19th century building constructed of flint and panelled with red brick. It features a tiled roof with a central ridge chimney stack. Originally built as two tenements, it has since been converted into a single dwelling. The building stands two storeys high and has a two-window range of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, set in plain reveals and topped with segmental heads. There are also two boarded doors.
