Description

Mill Farm Cottage is a cottage dating from the early 17th century and early to mid-19th century. It is timber-framed and rendered, with a corrugated iron roof and an axial brick stack. The cottage has a 2 cell lobby entrance plan and is 1½ storeys high. On either side of the door, there are 2-light casements featuring pointed arched heads and Gothick glazing bars. The porch is projecting and gabled, circular in plan, with a flat-set 4-panel door. On the left side, there are pointed-headed Gothick casements on both floors. The right side has a rectangular casement on the ground floor, with a first-floor window similar to the others. At the rear, there is a boarded door with a pointed arched head. Inside, there are stairs located behind the stack, and a ground floor chamfered beam with jewel and bar stops.
