Description
Burstall Hill Cottages is a pair of cottages dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. They are constructed of rendered brick and rubble with a thatched roof. The cottages are arranged in a T-plan and were originally a single two-cell range that has been extended to the rear. They stand one and a half storeys tall and are symmetrically arranged, with each cottage featuring one metal framed casement window and a boarded door. There is a central axial brick stack, and both the left and right returns have ground and first floor metal casements. The left-hand bridging beam has a lambs tongue stop. The right-hand cottage has not been inspected.
