Description
The West Lodges and Gates to Brettenham Park are mid to late 19th century structures made of red brick, located to the north and south of the main drive leading to Brettenham Hall. Each lodge features tiled roofs that are gabled at both the north and south ends, with a central chimney stack that has two octagonal shafts. A smaller gabled wing extends to the west of each lodge. The gables have overhanging eaves adorned with open cut and shaped bargeboards. Each lodge has a gabled downer on the east side and pointed arched doorways with boarded doors. The lodges are linked by attractive wrought iron gates and gate posts.
