Description

Bridge House is likely a 17th-century building, possibly with alterations in later periods. It is a two-story timber-framed structure, now plastered, with tiled roofs. The building features cross wings to the north and south, each with projecting upper stories supported by carved brackets. The front facade has been significantly altered and is now clad in modern pebble-dash. The windows are arranged 1:3:1, with moulded hoods above the upper windows of the cross wings. These upper windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The cross wings lack ground floor windows. The entrance is marked by an open pediment doorcase featuring reeded half-columns. Above the door is a blank fanlight, and the panelled reveals contain a modern door. Bridge House is part of a group with numbers 10 to 18.
