Description

35 and 36 Church Street are mid 16th to 17th century buildings that are timber-framed and plastered, with tiled roofs. An addition was made to the west end in the 18th century. The upper storey projects at two levels on the front, featuring a three-window range with flush frame sash windows that have glazing bars. Inside, the ground floor room has fine moulded ceiling beams. There is a central oak plank door with the year 1694 scratched on it.
