Description

A timber-framed and plastered house with a gault brick front, dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. The main block is two storeys high and features a three-window range of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, set within flush cased frames. The outer windows break forward slightly, and the ground-floor windows are three-light in design. A glazed canopy, supported by ornamental ironwork, extends across the front of the building. The east and west wings are single-storied and have castellated parapets. Their windows consist of both double-hung sashes with glazing bars and more recent casements. The roof is slate and hipped in design. Several wings extend to the north at the rear of the property.
