Description

Poorhouse Cottages is a timber-framed and plastered house dating to the 17th and 18th centuries. Although renovated and considerably altered, it remains an important feature in the village. The building is one storey high with attics. It has 20th-century casement windows. The roof is tiled, also from the 20th century, with 2 sloping roofed dormers and a central square chimney stack. An external stack is located at the south end of the building. The building is listed for its group value.
