Description

Tithe Barn is a barn dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is timber framed, weatherboarded, and has a brick plinth with a thatched roof that is half-hipped at the east end. The barn consists of 8 bays and features doorways on the south side, with midstreys opposite on the north side. Some of the timber used in the walls is reused. Inside, there are tie beams with straight braces and knees, and a two-tier butt purlin roof. The barn was restored by the parish in 1985 and is now used as a sports hall.
