Description

This is a range of mid-19th century red brick houses located on Lavenham High Street. Numbers 74 to 79 form a continuous block. Number 78 has a plastered facade, while number 79 is painted brick. The roof is slate. The houses are two storeys high and feature a six-window range of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars and segmental heads. Alternate bays project slightly and are distinguished by white brick quoins. A white brick band runs between the storeys, incorporating a panel displaying the date 1856. The range is listed for its contribution to the group value of numbers 70 to 80 on the High Street.
