Description
Number 60 on High Street is probably an 18th-century building that has undergone some alterations. It stands three storeys tall and features a five-window range, extending up to the corner where there is an entrance door set in a wooden case with fluted pilasters. The shop fronts are also in wooden cases, adorned with Doric pilasters and a continuous entablature. To the right, there are two windows at the ground floor. The front is finished in stucco, which is lined and painted. There is an eaves band and a small soffit. The building has a return front on George Street, adjoining number 1. It is included for its group value with numbers 60 to 68 (even), which form a cohesive group.
