Description
91 Church Street is a 16th-century timber-framed and plastered building with a cross wing at the north-east end that jetties on the upper storey. The roof is tiled, and the building has been renovated. It stands two storeys high and features a three-window range of modern casements with glazing bars. The ground storey includes two shallow splayed bays.
The house is sometimes referred to as Chimney House due to the large red brick external chimney stack with tabled offsets located on the north-east side. There is a passageway around the chimney on the ground storey, and a single-storey lean-to addition with a tiled roof extends across the north-east side. The building has been restored, revealing some window interior features during the renovation.
