Description

Rushbrooks is a 16th-century timber-framed and plastered building located on the south side of The Street in Monks Eleigh. It features cross wings at both the east and west ends, with a tiled roof. The building is two storeys high. The upper storey of the east cross wing and the main block have jettied elements supported by exposed joists and bressumers. There are four windows, featuring 3- and 4-light casements. An extension at the east end incorporates an old boarded and nailed door. The building has undergone renovation and restoration.
