Stone Cottage and Hilbre Cottage is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered building featuring a thatched roof that is hipped at the south-west end. The structure has one storey and attics, with small casement windows and boarded doors. There are two dormers on the front and a ridge chimney stack.
