Description

The Old School House is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 16th to 17th centuries. It features a cross wing extending from the south-west end. The main block of the building has two storeys and attics, with a sub basement level. Modern casement windows are fitted, along with a gabled porch. The gable of the cross wing displays a carved bressumer. The roof is tiled, topped by a ridge chimney stack with a sawtooth shaft and hexagonal ends on a rectangular moulded and castellated base. A single sloping-roofed dormer is present on the front elevation.
