Description
Nos 12 and 12A on St Nicholas Street are 17th-century buildings that have been altered. They are two stories high and feature three windows. The first floor has mock timber framing, and the roofs are covered with pantiles. There are red brick chimneys with drip bands and capping. The flush frame sash windows now only have central glazing bars. The ground floor has an ornamental 19th-century shop front with a wooden case. Inside, there are hewn beams. Above No 12A, there is a flat. Nos 11 to 14B nearby form a group.
