Description

Bales' Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-framed building that is covered in stucco. It features a steeply pitched pantile roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys tall. The façade has three widely spaced windows, which include two and three-light casements with leaded panes. There is a later gabled porch located off centre. A brick chimney stack is present, and there is a gabled wing at the centre of the rear (east) side of the farmhouse.
