Description

The Oaks is an 18th-century farmhouse, recently rendered with cement. It has a pantile hipped roof with modillion eaves. The building is two storeys high and has three windows on the front elevation. These windows are modern three-light casements with glazing bars and louvred shutters; the centre first-floor window is a two-light casement. A central pilastered doorcase topped with a dentil cornice is enclosed within a modern glazed porch. The farmhouse is L-shaped in plan, with a wing at the rear featuring similar windows. A brick chimney stack is also present.
