Description

South View and the adjoining dwelling occupied by Mr. Newman is a 17th-century timber-frame house that has been rendered. It features a steep pantile roof with gabled ends and has an off-centre brick chimney stack, along with another chimney on the east end. The building is two storeys high and has three widely spaced 19th-century casement windows. There are two plain doors, one of which leads to an enclosed modern greenhouse. Additionally, there is a modern one-bay addition on the west end and a lean-to on the east end.
