Description
Bracon Hall is a house built in 1833, constructed of brick with some ashlar and black pantiled roofs. It has two storeys and cellars, featuring a three-bay facade with large tripartite sash windows that have glazing bars and are set beneath 3-centred arches with rubbed brick voussoirs on the side bays. The centre bay is slightly recessed and includes a large painted stone porch supported by paired Tuscan columns and an entablature. Above the porch is a sash window with glazing bars beneath a skewback arch. The building has an ashlar plinth, a plat-band, and a moulded gault brick cornice. The east facade also has three bays of sash windows with glazing bars beneath skewback arches. On the south side of the west facade, there is a slight projection that contains a blind 3-centred arch with a blind lunette above, which reflects the outhouse pavilion opposite. The roof is hipped, and there are gault brick stacks.
