Description

The Old Post Office and Laburnum Cottage are a pair of late 18th or early 19th century timber-frame cottages. The cottages are plastered, with the south end wall of the Post Office facing in red brick. They have a pantile roof with gabled ends. The cottages are two storeys high and have four widely spaced windows, containing early 19th century three-light casement windows. Two brick chimney stacks are visible on the ridge of the roof. Laburnum Cottage has a modern lean-to addition on its north end.
